At Bounce Beyond Leicester we teach Rebounding on high quality studio rebounders also known as mini trampolines. Classes are delivered in a dark room with nightclub lighting and banging dance music! Expect to sweat, smile, bounce and burn lots of calories!

Classes are 45 minutes in duration.

Class prices are £6.50 pay as you go and currently only online bookings and payments are accepted.

Refunds or transfers to an alternative date are permitted up to 48 hours prior to class commencement; you can do this by logging into your account.

Class Passes are available, 7 classes for the price of 6; add 7 classes to your basket; either Pilates or Rebounding (7 of the same class type) the discount will be applied automatically to the value of one free class at checkout.

Please bring with you:

1) A bottle of water

2) Possibly a sweat towel

3) Your sense of FUN!

Please wear:

1) Appropriate and suitable fitness attire such as leggings or shorts and a t-shirt or vest, UV lights will be used; you are welcome to wear something UV reactive so you GLOW!

2) Appropriate training shoes (trainers) must be worn throughout the class, please ensure they are properly fastened.

3) Ladies a decent sports bra/crop top is an absolute must!

RESIST BEYOND FITNESS!

RESIST is a resistance based training class choreographed to music and delivered in a darkened air conditioned room with nightclub lighting (as you would expect from the Bounce Beyond Team!).

In this class we use a combination of body weight exercises and various pieces of small equipment for added challenge to sculpt and tone your body! We have a fantastic sound system and the best dance tunes; both old and new; to get you pumped up and into the fitness party zone! Expect to Sweat, Smile and Burn!

Classes are 45 minutes in duration.

All the equipment you need is provided in the class price, but feel free to bring your own mat and band(s).

 

Resistance training is absolutely vital for everyone, it is an essential part of a well-rounded health and fitness programme. Muscle tone and development increases your metabolic rate, supports good joint health and enables us to live independent, full and active life styles.

If you’re looking to create tone and shape whilst having fun with like-minded people then this is the class for you. No judgement, leave ego’s at the door; everyone welcome, just work as hard as you can and smile through the stinging!

What is Rebounding and what are the benefits?

Rebounding is a type of aerobic exercise that is performed by jumping on a mini-trampoline. At Bounce Beyond Leicester we rebound to banging dance music in a dark room with night club lighting! Rebounding is very gentle on your joints; allowing you to work your cardiovascular system, burn large amounts of calories without being taxing on your body. Rebounding will improve your endurance, strength, bone density, increase your coordination, improve insulin sensitivity, improve heart health, decrease blood pressure, decrease cellulite and body fat, it’s also anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing!

Rebounding burns calories faster than walking, swimming, or running, in fact, according to a 2016 study published in the ‘International Journal of Sports Science’ in comparison to running rebounding is:

Twice as effective at improving aerobic fitness

50% more efficient at burning fat

More effective at increasing maximal oxygen consumption

Creates less impact on the joints

Some of the many benefits of Rebounding:

  • Stimulates Metabolism – meaning you will burn more calories throughout the day.
  • Aids the Lymphatic System – the lymphatic system works alongside your cardiovascular system to keep blood and lymphatic fluid levels balanced and flushes out toxins. The lymphatic system also moves your immune cells throughout your body, this is your first line of defence against viruses and infection.
  • Reduces Cellulite – cellulite is often caused by a stagnant lymphatic system, rebounding increasing the lymphatic flow, a reduction in cellulite can often be seen after rebounding on a regular basis for just a few months
  • Has an Anti-Inflammatory Effect – Rebounding efficiently stimulates and helps lymphatic drainage which has an anti-inflammatory effect on your body. It is therefore a great exercise for many people with joint problems and arthritis because this type of exercise actually helps to lubricate the joints and reduce pain and stiffness.
  • Improves Bone Density – Rebounding increases bone density therefore reducing the risk of developing osteoporosis and decreases the chance of sustaining a bone fracture.
  • Increased G-Force – having an increased G-Force (or gravitational load) helps your body by strengthening your musculoskeletal systems. Rebounding has been used as an effective form of rehabilitation for astronauts! (Bones decrease in mass and density due to being in a weightless environment).
  • Antioxidant Protection – Rebounding increases your blood flow which can help protect the internal structure of your skin and delay the signs of ageing.

  • Firmer Abs, Glutes and Thighs – Rebounding will strengthen and tone your core and legs.
